It is possible to exchange data between PrimaSoft Organizer Deluxe and Web dB Server. In order to enable a selected user account for data exchange you need to do the following:

1. Create a user account on your server and give it the same user id as used to log into Web dB Server. You do it in Computer Management console (Programs/Administrative Tools/Computer Management). The password does not have to be the same as for Web dB Server login.
2. Create a user account using the same procedure as in 1) but add a letter "g" to the above user id. For example, if your user id was "user1" now use "user1g". This will allow transfer of graphic files.





3. Using Internet Information Services console create an Ftp Site (Action/New/Ftp Site).



How you set Home Directory is not important - you can set it to c:\Inetpub. Now, select your Ftp Site and create a Virtual Directory (New/Virtual Directory popup menu item).



In Virtual Directory Creation Wizard use the same user id as used in Computer Management console in step 1 and set alias to your user ExpImp subdirectory (e.g. c:\Inetpub\db\myaccount\expimp). Allow Read and Write access to this directory.



4. Create a Virtual Directory using the same procedure as in 3) but this time point it to the graphic subdirectory (e.g. c:\Inetpub\db\myaccount\graphic). Also, append a letter "g" to the user id (e.g. "user1g"). This will allow the transfer of graphic files from Organizer Deluxe to Web dB Server.
5. To set up your Organizer Deluxe for data exchange you have to start Designer (File/Designer). Now, click on Web dB Server/Setup. In Setup dialog box type in your Web dB Server address (IP Address or symbolic URL), your user id and password (as used in 1) above).
